Thermamax goes for AICON's DPA
more reliable measuring results than with an articulated arm
Until now, both for the inspection of incoming components and of in-house manufactured parts, the German company Thermamax has applied an articulated arm. However, as some objects are made of flexible material, the measuring results generated with the arm have not turned out satisfactory. Therefore, the company has just decided to acquire an optical coordinate measuring machine.

The new Leica Absolute Tracker AT401 is a highly accurate portable CMM for 3D measurements over ultra long ranges.
